I was reading on this blog, and saw about the Windows launch contest. This is just getting ridicoulus. Giving away prizes to the best guessers. The benefit of opensource: enough people to get the job done.

Nice guess with your date! It’s all just marketing, and if it generates discussion (like ours) then it’s working apparently.
I just thought it was a weird concept, which is why I posted about it.
