Transitioning Oils?

What is the big hold-up for switching to an alternitive fuel in cars, such as natural gas? No matter what various reports say, it is all price. The leaded to unleaded switch did not take long, so I am unable to see how this could be much different. Well, there is also not the pressure of before to switch…

 We need to find a cure to our typical gasoline quickly. The reason natural gas is ideal, is because it burns clean, and is efficent. We would not need as high of quanities of it as standard gasoline. Now, if only pressure would higher, and price would lower. The world would be better off.

Pagerank Gone?

At this blog, which I found though Google Blogsearch, something interesting. It looks like Google has stopped showing page ranks. They may be devolping a new system.

Even though it is pure speculation right now, it is rather odd the PR is gone. What is Google up to?

Guess The Lauch Date

First off, sorry for my not being current. I have not been on the web much for the past week or so..

I was reading on this blog, and saw about the Windows launch contest. This is just getting ridicoulus. Giving away prizes to the best guessers. The benefit of opensource: enough people to get the job done.

Wine Faster Than XP?

I was reading this article, which I had just posted, and found that Wine is faster than Windows XP itself, in some aspects! Although it seems quite feasable, it is amazing what a rebuilt API can do. As great is this is, my main problem is that it can take quite a while to install software through wine. All in all, it is quite remarkable though!

Google2Linux

It looks like some Google programs are coming to Linux soon. However, I an unable to understand why they are having to use Codeweavers… Despite some claims, I do not think it is all because of an upcoming Google OS.

Goobuntu?

Goobuntu.com has some “proof” that Goobuntu is coming about, including screenshots and such. However, altough I am not sure about Goobuntu, or even that name, I do think that Google will soon release some type of Linux. (Although not Goohat).
